Catherine Zeta Jones is my favorite actress. Other than being sexy and a lot cuter than Ivan, she is a talented woman. Supposedly, she dances, sings, and can consume a large amount of alcohol without becoming inebriated. She was born September 25, 1969 in Wales. That's just 18 days after my birthday, of course I was born a lot later. I've watched three movies that she's in: She was beautiful in The Mask of Zorro, smart and deceiving in Entrapment, and a little bisexual in The Haunting. :)
LONDON (Reuters) - Pregnant actress Catherine Zeta Jones is considering converting to Judaism before her marriage to Hollywood star Michael Douglas, according to a British newspaper.
The 30-year-old Welsh beauty, who has just announced she is expecting Douglas's baby, has become "fascinated" by her future husband's Jewish faith and has spoken to a rabbi about converting, the Mail on Sunday said.
"Michael and his family are very proud of their Jewish heritage. In Judaism the mother pays a pivotal role in raising the children to honor their faith," an unnamed source said to be close to Zeta Jones told the paper.
"Catherine is fascinated by the Jewish faith and she is serious about converting."
The Mail on Sunday said the couple, who announced their engagement on January 6, had already agreed their child would be raised as a Jew.
Douglas's father, movie legend Kirk Douglas, last month reaffirmed his Jewish faith with a second bar mitzvah ceremony.
News of Zeta Jones's pregnancy first surfaced in Britain's top-selling Sun tabloid on Friday. The paper reported she was three months pregnant and that bouts of morning sickness had forced her to pull out of presenting Sunday's Golden Globe awards in Beverly Hills.
Her publicist in Los Angeles later confirmed the news in a brief statement.
No date or venue has been set for the couple's wedding, although there has been speculation they are considering their shared birthday, September 25, with Douglas's estate on the Spanish holiday island of Majorca the preferred location.
